Thats the reason I dont like restaurants. Once they tried to charge me $3 more for a meal; I took out the cell phone and made my calculations and I found the scam. Be careful.

I even bought an apartment scaming as a barterder!!!!

  • jimisajewboy

    @StabxWithxPaste how?

  • MiraMorningstar

That’s really mean to do something bad to someone’s food when the cook or waiter got the order wrong. If the customer is an asshole about it, then in that case, I understand why they would be upset.

I have to agree with socratesocks. I used to work in many restaurants as a cook, and also in the Navy I was a cook, and I never saw anything like this. Maybe I only worked in better restaurants, but that stuff was not tolerated. I won’t deny that there are isolated cases of people doing that sort of stuff, but it is not the norm.

Well restaurants are too expensive anyway. I don’t mind to spend something but the numbers are just way too big for an hour long meal. It’s best to put it into stocks. Is it at least at a nice location? If not, it’s useless eating there except for giving a job to someone. Fast serviced places are good (with healthy food), especially sushi bars when you can see how your food is prepared. I prefer to come there and simply take the plate from a conveyor belt. I can’t eat much anyway.

This video is discusting. I’ve worked in restaurants when I was younger and none of that stuff went on. Except maybe the scamming. Old stuff was thrown out, and nothing was reused. Well almost nothing. About the grossest thing was how the gravy was made from the deep frier scrapings. But the gravy was so damn good I didn’t care. lol

I don’t pay cash. I’ve been ripped off by waiters who claimed I’ve short changed them many times, now if they reject my plastic I tell them to keep the info and charge it later and walk out.

  • EGarrett01

Does that mean you figured out how dumb your own comment was? If not, then the time period doesn’t matter.

  • MarieSuzette

    Late to the conversation much?

  • EGarrett01

No actually Marie, you don’t have the right to cheat people just because they make a lot of money.

I have been in the food industry for fifteen years, and if one of my staff tried anything like this i would kick their ass. any good cook or waitress holds the safety and well being of their customer at the highest regard! Tip or no tip that food must be at the highest caliber and completely safe. I have worked at places like this and quit the first day because the food was unsafe.

  • Knoss

Tips are a major problem with restaurants. Restaurants should pay serving staff and put that into the bill.

  • unholyaquarius

its a stupid move, insulting or berating the waiter…. buuuut I’ve seen many times when it’s justified. Thats when I just tip like shit and never come back

  • Lightforged

Clearly, people have the right to cause harm to people whom they feel have slighted or insulted them. >_> Although the desire for revenge is understandable, I believe this human vice is a major reason society is necessary. While yes, intentionally insulting a servant of any kind is stupid and wrong, it is common to mistake proper assertiveness with rudeness. It’s easy to assume people are just jerks, rather than having a bad day (not to mention, the server may have misunderstood).

  • mizikal

IF you are dumb enough and rude enough to be a jerk to the person serving you food you get what you deserve

  • mustardsucks

NAAA, they can just say “I have rights! I have the right to spit in your food.” Judge – 2 weeks probation, $20 fine. Next!

  • DaYukilicious

Ive been working as a waitress for 2 years and i never spat in anyones food or did those things because i have morals. It really depends on what kind of person u are but It probably happens alot . and its probably not such a good idea to bitch at your waiter

  • angedansenfere

I worked for 6 years as a waitress.I’ve never done any of this myself, but I have seen coworkers spit in food. but only once- lesson there don’t go to a restaurant where you know you have an enemy.
Don’t be afraid to send back food if its not too busy or there is a genuine complaint. And yes, never piss off your server, should be common sense. Oh, and if your in the US tip at least 15%, if not 20+. Servers make no money outside of tips.

  • StabxWithxPaste

DAMNIT i just lost the game. -_- i hate you.

  • KrayzCurry

Those fucking assholes… prison time for them.

  • AllenFTW

most of this happens up north, more assholes there

  • demonic008

This book is the waiter’s version of The Game by Neil Strauss

  • Lukychrm42

I worked in 4 restaurants in 3 cities while in college, and I never saw anyone doing anything so disgusting or dishonest as this.

  • Caerdrys

I worked for 3 years as a waitress, I never spit in anyone’s food or tried to scam anyone. If someone short-tipped me and came back in the restaurant another day, I would have my revenge by giving them crappy service.
