Internet Scams that automatically sign you up for others without telling you?

Help! My husband signed up for one of those lists of auctions back in like November, he got it realized it was a scam and canceled it immediately, since then we have gotten more trial offers that charge our account that we have no idea what they are even for… is there a way to find out who is doing this and get our card and names taken off their stupid list? We’ve been able to cancel most of the trials but its just crazy.

call the bank or credit card company, tell them you’re card number was stolen and they will change it for you

If they are legitimate companies (this can be verified by going to the BBB website and some others ) than the FTC can get involved and see what they can do. If you know the original site that caused all the problems, go on there to see if there’s an unsubscribe area, or even a contact #; you may also can contact your credit card company and tell them that unless you authorize a charge, the card is not to accept it ( not sure if this is possible, but worth the try)

you should immediately cancel the card these accounts are linked to and not the accounts you are signed up for. do this asap, and stop paying for stuff you shouldn’t. if you don’t cancel the card than you are not very smart at all!
