never heard of the 49.95 fee:
30.00 for back ground checks only is ok: because so many go into call center work and don’t stay can’t hack it for what ever reason.
so it’s fair to pay for your own back ground check but that’s it!
apply only to the jobs listed on the rat race link provided: they have been prescreened!

The general rule of thumb: don’t get caught up in companies that charge a fee. It is assumed that they are scams.
My suggestion would be to apply at West. They don’t charge a fee. I worked for them for a year. I know other people who had good results with them, too.

I can’t really speak for the online survey or data entry jobs, but I work from home as a designer with Latasia jewelry and love it! The company has been in business for over 15 years and is a member of the DSA. The job is fun, easy and the money is great. I’m not sure what kind of interests you have but it may be an option for you to consider. I’d be happy to send you some info if you’d like and can help you get started for free. I don’t want to to break any of the yahoo rules, so if you’re intereseted in hearing more, my contact info is on my profile.
    Good luck!

Unfortunately, many of the online offers give you information to get started posting ad’s and waiting for income that never appears, many of them are all the same with tons of incorrect and outdated information. I do work from home with a legitimate company, we offer discount health and dental benefits. We offer two ways to work from home, incredible training, mentors, benefits, 401K, I absolutely love it, and I believe in the company and the product. You can visit my site, and I would be happy to answer any questions, Just contact me.

yeah seems like 49.95 is the standard. Most are scams at least from what I have seen. There is a site that provides lots of information about programs and reviews only the programs that were proven not to be scams. http://www.squidoo.com/typingathome is the site. Take a look, good luck

Saying they are all scamms is a pretty general statement dont you think. I would say that 98% of them are scamms but not all of them. I myself have been scammed at least 20 times. The only one I joined that was legitimate in my eyes was Shaklee. I just made my first $150 check this last week. It cost me $20 to join. They have been around 50 years producing green products for personal use and household use. My day job is a engineering manager and I make $85,000 a year at that job. If my team continues to grow the way it is now at Shaklee in 3 years I will retire. So in my opinion not all internet marketing is a scamm. Good luck with your search.http://www.shaklee.net/robert_cannon

A job that makes you pay a fee is a scam. Jobs should always be free. If you want to work from home you should find a home base business that has a high conversion rate.I have a little 20 dollar business that i have gotten a little bit over 2,000 this month and i just started. Low price online business is the best place to start for a newbie.Anything you need i am here
